About the Position: McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP) was originally commissioned as the Naval Ammunition Depot McAlester on May 20, 1943 and began its first production in September 1943. In October 1977 the naval facility was transferred to the Army under the Single Manager for Conventional Ammunition act. MCAAP is a government-owned/government-operated facility. Our operating hours are from 6:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. We are closed on federal holidays. The mission of MCAAP is to produce and renovate quality conventional missile ammunition and ammunition-related components, perform engineering and product assurance in support of production, and receive, store, ship, demilitarize and dispose of conventional and missile ammunition and related items.
This is an Interdisciplinary position which may be filled under any of the following titles and occupational series, depending on the qualifications of the applicant and needs of the agency:

Manage and/or implement energy program with the goal of developing policy and efficiencies to reduce energy costs while supporting stewardship of resources, readiness, and sustainability.
Coordinate and conduct technical reviews of all energy related designs and construction projects.
Design, layout and construction of energy conservation projects associated with buildings and utilities.
Plan and execute Energy Saving Performance Contracting Programs.
Use energy conservation techniques, management, and methods used to reduce all forms of energy consumption without adversely affecting operations of an installation.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Managing and implementing an energy program with the goal of developing policy and efficiencies to reduce energy costs while supporting stewardship of resources, readiness, and sustainability; experience coordinating and conducting technical reviews of all energy related designs and construction projects; experience with the design, layout and construction of energy conservation projects associated with buildings and utilities; planning and executing Energy Saving Performance Contracting Programs; experience with energy conservation techniques, management, and methods used to reduce all forms of energy consumption without adversely affecting operations of an installation; experience with facility systems and procedures to evaluate operations for safety and conservation, and to be able to detect fraud; and experience with facilities energy characteristics and peculiarities (i.e., in order to understand the technical aspects of handling, storing, receiving and issuing necessary to resolve difficult operational problems and the interrelationships of these functions with inventory control, accountability and quality assurance and/or surveillance.)

Knowledge of Statutes, Laws, and Regulations Governing Energy Operations.

In addition to the Specialized Experience requirement, this Interdisciplinary Engineer position/occupation has specific educational requirements which apply. The quality of the combination of education must be sufficient to be comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of a full 4-year course of study with a major in the appropriate field. Education above the high school level must have been completed in a U.S. college, university, or other educational institution that has been accredited by one of the accrediting agencies or associations recognized by the Secretary, U.S. Department of Education. Conditions of Employment:
This position requires you to possess and maintain, or be able to obtain and maintain a CEM (Certified Energy Manager) License through the Association of Energy Engineers within two years of employment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
