Fluid Technicians
Pay: $17 - $19 hr
Our client is looking for experienced Fluid Technicians to join their growing pressure pumping division. Rotational schedule is 14/7.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures compliance with Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, Asset Integrity Management, Human Resources and Finance.
Ensures compliance with the Competence Assurance System and that all required training and competence assessments are completed according to Operating Procedures.
Performs pre-job Quality Control Testing of all stimulation fluids, chemicals and proppant per standards.
Performs pre and post job chemical, fluid and proppant inventories to ensure verification that proper volumes of chemicals are loaded and minimizing inventory variances.
Completes all appropriate QC documentation per standards and verifies base fluid requirements prior to and during treatment execution.
Communicates test results and all QC results to applicable personnel.
Maintains field lab equipment and in good clean working order and fully stocked.
Works with district lab personnel to perform basic product QC testing, job preparation testing, calibration of metering equipment, and recording of results as applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Three (3) to five (5) years of Fracturing/Stimulation experience in an oil service industry preferred.
Knowledge of or ability to learn blending and pumping equipment.
Knowledge of or ability to learn testing procedures for all products or systems being pumped on assigned job sites.
Ability to communicate test results (oral, written skills).
Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe. Quality control of stimulation fluids
