Hardware Store Assistant Manager

Store Assistant Manager includes supervising and directing store associates, inventory management, merchandising, promoting and advertising, and most importantly ensuring great customer service.
Store management, assistant management or prior supervisory experience preferred
A deep knowledge and understanding of all hardware related products
Ability to read house plans is desirable.
Math and basic computer skills are a must.
Self-motivated, fast learner, goal oriented, well organized Solid managerial, leadership and communication skills
Ability to work harmoniously and productively with others
Ability to listen, plan and motivate others
Interact regularly with store staff, corporate staff, and customers'
Ability to work weekends
Physically work the store floor and outside areas to include unloading trucks, stocking freight, and load outs when necessary - Lifting between 1-50 pounds
Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
