Growing Manufacturing Facility is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain plant equipment and report equipment concerns and any additional information as required by the Plant Engineer.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Responsible for the preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and for maintaining proper records for the same.
2. Responsible for the calibration of electrical equipment and for maintaining proper records for the same.
3. Responsible for adhering to electrical policies, practices and procedures as defined by the Plant Engineer.
4. Responsible for promoting safety awareness and keeping safety as a number one priority on a daily basis.
5. Responsible for promoting a working environment that incorporates a teamwork philosophy.
6. Responsible for the repair of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
7. Responsible for assisting the Engineering department in new equipment installation and existing equipment modifications.
8. Responsible for the basic programming of PLC's and related equipment.
9. Responsible for coordinating with the production and converting departments, on proper time to efficiently repair and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
10. Coordinate with, and carry out the jobs assigned to the electrical department with the Plant Engineer.
11. Responsible for standby call, for equipment problems at night and weekends on a rotating basis.
12. Work shift work if/when needed.
13. Must demonstrate strong leadership skills.
14. Demonstrate the skills necessary to train personnel.
15. Willingness to further develop skill base with continuing experience and professional training.
16. Must demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong teamwork relationships.
17. Must have excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
