Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element):
Ability to do the work of an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic without more than normal supervision. Installation and inspection of complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal SupervisionKnowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc.Theory of ElectronicsTrouble shooting (Electronic Equipment) PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Light to moderate physical exertion is required in lifting and carrying items weighing from 10 to 40 pounds and occasional objects weighing in excess of 40 pounds. Mechanics are required to stoop, bend and stand for extended periods of time on concrete or composition floors. Working Conditions:
Work is predominantly performed inside a well lighted, heated and ventilated shop environment. Subject to injuries such as cuts and bruises, as well as burns caused by electrical shock. Duties are performed while exposed to unusually hazardous agents for 35-75% of total work cycle. Hazardous exposure is not considered in the evaluation of job, since environmental pay is provided to compensate for hazardous elements.
